The highly controversial drugs peddling and consumption case which shook Tollywood back in 2017 is back to haunt Telugu film celebrities again now.
Today, the Enforcement Directorate has summoned notices to Rana Daggubati, Rakul Preet Singh, Charmee Kaur, Ravi Teja, Navdeep, Mumaith Khan, Tanish, and Tarun.
Rakul was ordered to appear in front of ED officials on 6th September, Rana on September 8, Ravi Teja on September 9, and Mumaith Khan on September 15.
“Till we get consolidated evidences, Tollywood celebrities will be considered as witnesses in this drugs peddling and consumption case.
Back in 2017, Special Investigation Team (SIT) collected nail and hair samples of 62 suspects but didn’t file any charges against them due to lack of evidence. It was speculated that the case as good closed.
But all of a sudden the Enforcement Directorate has summoned Tollywood celebrities attend the further investigation. More details about the same will be out as the investigation progresses.
