Double Blow For Puri-Deverakonda’ Liger

Liger Bhoot Police

A double blow of sorts is in sight for Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger. The pan-India film will have to face competition locally and nationally when it hits the cinemas on September 9th, later in the year.

A Bollywood horror comedy film, Bhoot Police starring Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor, is locked to hit the screens on September 10th. As we all know, Liger announced its release date on September 9th, a day before the traditional Friday, September 10th.

Since the announcement of the release date of Liger, many expected September 10th to be taken. But, it was assumed to be by the local movie PSPKRana. The makers have still not come out with any official date. In the meantime, Bhoot Police surprised everyone with their arrival.

If PSPKRana takes the September 10th date, Liger will have only one day to make a killing. From the next day, it will have to share screens with other releases in Hindi and Telugu. One can expect another notable film to do the same in Tamil.

Not only the clash in the opening weekend, but Liger will also have a biggie in Telugu and Hindi the next week, as well. In Hindi, it has Ayushmann Khurana’s Anek, a spy thriller. An announcement about the Telugu movie will be out in time.

Overall, Liger has its task cut out to impress the audience. Puri Jagannadh directs the mass entertainer, which will be in his typical style. Ananya Panday is the heroine. Karan Johan presents the movie.
