Two big films releasing simultaneously is always a problem for one movie. In the coming days we are going to see such a problem with two sets of films, first between Rabhasa and Power and then between Aagadu and Govindudu Andarivadele. Let’s first focus on the immediate one that we have at hand.
Power starring Ravi Teja is going to release just after a week of the release of Rabhasa and is expected to take away a chunk of theatres from the Jr NTR starrer. But what many don’t know is that there is another film called Power which is also releasing simultaneously with Rabahsa. This is a Kannada film starring Puneeth Raj Kumar and its remake of our Telugu film Dookudu. If the Telugu Power is going to affect Rabhasa after one week, Kannada Power is going to eat into theatres of Rabhasa in Karnataka in the opening week itself.
This is a problem for Jr NTR because Karnataka is one of his strongest territories and now due to a big release he is not going to get enough theatres. Thus ‘Power’ from two different industries is going to create an impact on Rabhasa. Will Young Tiger remain unscathed of this Power attacks, we will know pretty soon.
