Filmmaker Maruthi has confirmed that his film Venky title “Radha” is not a political film nor does it deal about politics. He said that it’s a love story between a Home Minister and a middle class woman. He feels he still doesn’t have the experience to make a film on politics and moreover, he’s interested in making one.
He confirms that there will some political sequences in the film but it will not be a full length political film. He says he had include few political scenes to do justice to the character played by Venkatesh. Teaming up with Venkatesh for the project makes the young director-producer very excited as he’s happy that the senior actor has given him full freedom. In fact, he hasn’t narrated the complete script to Venkatesh and he intends to meet him Friday to reveal the same. It’s the same with Nayanthara as well to whom he narrated the story over phone.
Maruthi is confident about the film and added that it will be a mature love story being made keeping in mind the age and image of Venkatesh, who has now agreed to play senior roles as well.
