Music maestro Ilayaraja was supposed to participate in a concert yesterday (December 28) in Kuala Lampur titled The King of Kings. He was reportedly going to perform their with his son’s Yuvan Shankar Raja and Karthik Raja for which grand arrangements had been done by the organizers. Unfortunately the show has to be cancelled in the last moment owning to the health issues of music maestro.
Ilayaraja was admitted to a hospital in Chennai few days ago because of the mild heart attack and the music director says he is recovering well and will be fine soon. Meanwhile the music director from the hospital has requested his fans to not ask the money back from the organizers for the cancelled concert because that would lead to huge financial loss for the organizers. He also reassured the fans that soon he will be giving them joy again through the concerts and other such shows in immediate future. So all you fans of Ilayaraja out there pray for his well being and everything will follow it.
