The-Warriorr-Gargi-IravinNizhal-Sabaash-MithuThis weekend two films battled it out at the USA box office. Ram Pothineni’s The Warriorr and Sai Pallavi’s Gargi. And expectedly, both turned out to be huge disasters with atrocious collections.

Until Friday, The Warriorr collected $65K, and Gargi did a business of $15.5K. The combined collections of both the movies didn’t even touch $100K, which is disastrous, to say the least.

The Saturday and Sunday collections are also looking dull, making it one of the lousiest weekends at the US ticket windows for Tollywood.

The last hit at the US box office was Nani’s Ante Sundaraniki which grossed around $1 Million in the US. After that, all Telugu films have fallen like a pack of cards.

Next week it will be Naga Chaitanya’s show, Thank You, which will be looking to strike big at the box office. Though the hype is low, Thank You is a US-box-office-friendly film, and it will be interesting to see how the film will score at the US box office.
