It’s not about their films but about the movies they had promoted recently attending the pre-release events of those respective films and both those movies disappointed big time. We are talking about ‘Chaavu Kaburu Challaga’ and ‘Thellavarithe Guruvaram’.
Allu Arjun was the chief guest at the ‘Chaavu Kaburu Challaga’ pre-release event and moreover, it’s a movie bankrolled by GA 2 Pictures, his home production house. Nevertheless, his presence added only for his own buzz but didn’t help the film that had a concept of a love story in the face of death.
NTR promoted ‘Thellavarithe Guruvaram’ starring Sri Simha (MM Keeravani’s younger son) as the lead by attending the pre-release event of the film. However, even this film disappointed with things not seeming to be favourable for the movie. His promotions didn’t create the necessary buzz.
When the above-mentioned star heroes promoted those movies, they were expected to be owned big time by their die-hard fans and give good openings. But, there was nothing like that. Both the movies didn’t do any great even opening collections wise. So, it’s the content that let the movies down.
