Allu Arjun and filmmaker Maruthi’s friendship is quite old. Not many know that Bunny and Maruthi have known each other for the past 20 years and since 2000, the two have been thick friends. Maruthi has now revealed more about their relationship and the bond he carries with the actor.
Maruthi says that Allu Arjun for a long time has been asking that they should do a film together. “Like Bunny, I too want to make a film with him and am excited about it but I am not able to make it happen,” says the filmmaker. The reason behind Maruthi not taking the step is that he is scared of losing friendship with Bunny.
Maruthi says that he values friendship more than professional tie-up. If he ever makes a film with Bunny, then it has to be the best and just for the sake of making it, he doesn’t want to do it. Maruthi is scared that if the film doesn’t perform well, the friendship may get marred which he doesn’t want to do. Thus he is scared of losing the friendship.
Work-wise, Maruthi has already started the shoot of an untitled project starring Santosh Shobhan and Mehreen Pirzada. The medium budget shoot is happening at a brisk pace. Apart from this, he has Pakka Commercial.
