Most Eligible Bachelor starring Akhil Akkineni and Pooja Hegde is releasing on October 15. Directed by ‘Bommarillu’ Bhaskar, the film shows Akhil essaying as NRI and Pooja as a stand-up comedian.
While Pooja is a star actress and anyone would think it as a blessing to have her on board in their films, director Bommarillu’ Bhaskar was however apprehensive about her. The director in an interview revealed that being a star is a different thing but to be able to live up to the role is another thing.
“I was doubtful if Pooja could perform the stand-up comedian role, but to my surprise, she aced the role well. The amount of effort and hard work she has put in left me impressed. As things progressed, my doubts were all cleared,” says the director.
The director goes on to add that Pooja Hedge always tried experimenting as well as to how she can come up with something new to her role. Well, looks like due to her sheer hard work and dedication, the actress is one of the top heroines of TFI.
