Omar Lulu, the director of Priya Prakash’s movie says that he was under pressure to highlight the wink girl after her act went viral. The producers had pressurized him to change the script and tweak the story as Priya Prakash Varrier wink act became a sensation and they wanted to cash on the sensation. According to the story he had in hand, Priya Prakash was not the lead but another actress Noorin was the heroine.
When differences crept up between the director and the producers of the movie, the director had to give in and change the story to give importance to Priya’s character. That’s the reason why the movie was a disappointment when the audiences went to the theatres expecting too much from the wink girl. Oops! The director is blaming Priya for the failure but did she ask for changing her character?
