Jyothika’s crime thriller ‘Naachiyaar’ directed by Bala has opened to good reviews and naturally we expect a dubbed Telugu version of the film to release in the Telugu States’. The actress is anyway a known name to Telugu audiences.
The Telugu rights of the movie were bought by Kalpana Koneru who wanted to release the dubbed version. But then, the director has other plans. Instead of going for the dubbing version, director Bala suggested remaking the film with Anusha Shetty.
Her star power made ‘Bhaagamathie’ a super hit venture despite having average content. So, we have to wait and see if Anushka gives a nod to this film. If not, the dubbed version is anyway there to reach the Telugu audiences. The original may have a lot of Tamil flavour and if remade in Telugu, it might prove a successful venture going by the content of the movie.
