Just when things were looking rosy for the Telugu film industry it looks to have hit a roadblock again, thanks to a ‘note’ by the government’s cabinet. This note has enraged the agitators and they have now taken a violent route apart from calling for a bandh. What all this means in short is, films get affected again which is the reason of worry for Ramayya Vastavayya unit.
This kind of tense situation has been the norm with Telugu biggies for the past couple of months. It had resulted in many films getting postponed indefinitely and thereby leaving many a producers and distributors high and dry. However thanks to the recent ‘unexpected’ release of Atharintiki Daredi and its success, normalcy has been restored- felt the industry, which lead to the announcement of release dates of many postponed films.
Ramayya Vastavayya was one of those units which buoyed by the stupendous response to recently released biggie had gone ahead with their originally planned grand release. Now with agitation hitting peak all over, they have been pushed into dilemma to release the film or not to. While producer Dil Raju has announced there would be no change in release date, sources say, nothing is confirmed till the last minute and the real picture would emerge only a couple of days before the actual release. Well, we hope things get sorted out sooner rather than later.
