Dil Raju is one of the prime producers in Telugu cinema now. He himself stated in a recent interview that a handful of his relatives and near ones are MLAs in the twin Telugu states.
Now, Dil Raju was asked about his own political entry and here’s what he had to say.
“It is true that I’ve been contacted by a few regarding the prospect of me turning active in politics” Dil Raju said, confirming interest from Telugu states political parties to get him onboard.
However, the star producer clarified that he is not interested in active politics, at least for now.
“I am unable to bear the internal mindgames and targeted attacks in the film industry itself, and then, how can I take pressure there when I enter politics” Dil Raju stated.
Dil Raju concluded he doesn’t think he is ready for active politics and implied that he is happy with films and wishes to keep it that way.
Dil Raju’s next film is Samantha’s Shakuntalam which he is presenting on a pan Indian level.
