‘Mahavir Karna’ will be a mammoth project for sure for the scale of the budget, casting and the technicians to be roped in for the movie. How did the director convince Chiyaan Vikram to play the title role in this Rs. 300 crore budget movie?
It was learnt that Vikram was skeptical, initially. The talented actor knew how legendary Sr. NTR impressed the audiences big time with the iconic role in ‘Daana Veera Shoora Karna’. So, he wanted to know how different is the epic movie going to be from the movies on Karna essayed by Sr. NTR in Telugu and Sivaji Ganesan in Tamil.
Finally, director RS Vimal’s narration on the portrayal of Karna had impressed Vikram and thus he gave the nod to play the title role. Nonetheless, this movie is definitely big for the actor’s shoes though he can give his best shot. Vikram has already begun his preparation as per the reports.
