Kalyan Ram’s Bimbisara is up for release on the 5th of August and it is one of the more promising films from Tollywood. But the director of the film, Mallidi Venu had to go through a fair bit of struggle before materializing this project.
Venu narrated Bimbisara script and another script to Ravi Teja but things didn’t fall into place. He was even promised a project with a lesser popular hero from a star family but this project didn’t take off.
He had to undergo a fair deal of struggles, much like any first time director.
Cut to now, Venu has conceived a decent budget for his project, Bimbisara with Kalyan Ram which also happens to be the costliest project in the latter’s career.
Luckily for Bimbisara, the trailer of the film struck a chord with the audience and it has built up decent buzz for the film. Things are actually falling into place for the debutant at the right place. Can he hit the home run by delivering a box office blockbuster with Bimbisara? We’ll know the answer on 5th August.
