Did Ramoji reject Baahubali rights?According to the media reports, media baron Ramoji Rao seems to have invested around Rs.70 crore on Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Baahubali’. If the buzz around the satellite rights and a popular English tabloid’s story is to be believed, media baron Ramoji Rao rejected the satellite rights of ‘Baahubali’.

We know, Ramoji Rao owns many TV channels and the buzz on his refusal comes as a big surprise. As per the buzz, the makers of the magnum opus wanted an whooping amount of Rs.14 crores for the satellite rights and MAA TV has come up with Rs.12 crore deal which didn’t materialise as of now.

The Hindi version’s satellite rights are said to be sold for Rs.17 crore to Sony TV and this figures are really overwhelming. Since the makers of Baahubali have to pay back money to Ramoji Rao, one would easily think that he would account some of that for the satellite rights. But donno why the media baron refused the satellite rights.
