There had been this big rumor circulating on some Bollywood sources that Rajamouli is going to make a trilogy on our epic Mahabharata in 2018 and needs the stars to allocate five to six years.
The rumors went to the extent of budget calculation of Rs. 400 crores for the making of ‘Mahabharata‘ and stars to be roped in from South Film Industries and Bollywood as well. Speaking on this rumor, Rajamouli’s father writer Vijayendra Prasad asked if anyone checked before writing rumors?
So, all the things reported on Mahabharata are only rumors. Presently, Rajamouli’s complete attention is on releasing ‘Baahubali, The Conclusion’ release in time and meet the deadline they had set, i.e., on 28th April. As of now, nothing about Mahabharata is on cards clarifies Vijayendra Prasad.
