Seems the remakes trend caught up with the Telugu Film Industry like fire and one by one, the super hit movies from Kollywood are making way to Telugu audiences in the form of remakes, instead of dubbing movies. The latest being ‘Dhruva’ and ‘Khaidi No. 150‘, both are successful.
Here is one more Telugu remake of Tamil movie ‘Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru’ in the offing for us. This film was directed by a debutante Karthick Naren, a 21-year old and scored a decent hit in 2016. He shot this cop story in 28 days. Ah! That looks interesting.
Rahman, who played Ram Charan’s father in ‘Govindudu Andarivadele’ reprised the lead role in this small film. It is heard that a top star in Telugu is interested in taking up this project and further details on this remake project are awaited. The young director isn’t going to helm the remake project.
