Megapower Star Ram Charan’s Dhruva has completed the censor activities. It has been given a U/A rating. The film is all set to arrive in a grand manner on December 9.
This not just a first for Ram Charan but also for a Telugu film in last few years. So, what’s that first? The “first” here is a Telugu film getting censored almost three weeks in advance. In the past few years, that has not happened. Most of the Telugu films get censored in the week that it is about to release. There are many last minute issues and it affects the overseas collections of these films.
Sometimes a film gets delayed and censor is completed which helps a smooth release. But these are unplanned happenings. Even with a December 2nd release as announced earlier, the censor work has been completed well in advance. All that needs to be seen now is can Charan make it count? Can he cross the elusive Million dollar mark?
Dhruva stars Ram Charan in the lead and Rakul Preet is paired opposite him. Surender Reddy has directed the film which is produced by Geetha Arts. Music scored by Hiphop Thamizha, retained from original Thani Oruvan, is already a big success.
