Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan starrer movie ‘Dhoom 3’, the third action thriller in the series to be produced under the Yash Raj Films’ banner has been reported to hit the screens in the IMAX format. Other than Khan the film features Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra in their previous roles and actress Katrina Kaif as a protagonist working with Khan.
It is heard that ‘Dhoom 3’ will be the first Bollywood movie to be released in the IMAX format which uses a different kind of projection system offering crystal-clear images. The film will be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya who is also a writer and a lyricist. The second film to hit the IMAX theatres will also be a Yash Raj Films’ production titled ‘Paani’.
