Two years after making her cinematic debut with films such as Love Failure and Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, actress Dhanya Balakrishnan is elated about the release of her debut film Second Hand as a lead. She said that she didn’t mind waiting for the right opportunity as long as she has a strong roles to essay.
Dhanya is headstrong that she will continue doing supporting actress roles even after she becomes an actress as she believes in strong roles and not necessarily if its a lead or supporting character. Dhanya was also recently seen in the Tamil dubbed film Raja Rani, in which she played the friend of Nayanthara.
Having worked with Mahesh Babu in SVSC, she feels Mahesh can make a great director as he gave her lot of tips on acting during the shoot of the film. Dhanya, who had directed a short film a decade, is keen to go behind the camera in a few years from now as filmmaking is her biggest passion.
