Tamil star Dhanush will soon be a well known face to the larger section of the Telugu audience as he will be making his Telugu debut with bilingual social drama, Sir which is being directed by Venky Atluri.
Now, Dhanush is enjoying the success of his latest release, Thiruchitrambalam. The film was released in Telugu as Thiru but it didn’t get much recognition at the box office. However, the film is a big hit in Tamil and it could well end as one of the highest grossing Tamil films of the year.
Coming to the point, Thiruchitrambalam has sealed not one but two OTT streaming partners.
The post theatrical OTT streaming rights of the family entertainer are with Netflix and Sun NXT. The official OTT release date will be announced sooner than later.
The last time Dhanush partnered with Netflix was recently for Hollywood biggie, The Gray Man which turned out to be a disaster. Can he satisfy the OTT audience this time around with a much more rooted film like Thiruchitrambalam?
