The theatrical trailer for Dhamaka has been unveiled and it confirms that the Ravi Teja starrer is a commercial potboiler. Here’s what we have to say about the same.
The trailer starts with the massy introduction of Ravi Teja. He looks slim and sharp. Then we are introduced to the other character, also played by Ravi Teja. While one is a jobless lad, the other is a budding CEO of a business empire. Ravi Teja plays a dual role.
The trailer is loaded with action shots featuring Ravi Teja and there’s ample screen time for the female lead Sreeleela as well. The background score is energy-inducing and pulsating. The music director Bheems has done a good job with the BGM.
The dialogues have mass appeal. There’s a surprise dialogue on Trivikram as well. The trailer promises that Dhamaka is a blend of action, comedy, witty one-liners, and dance bits.
But the issue with commercial potboilers has been that the audience aren’t interested to step out to watch them in theaters if they offer routine content. Dhamaka will face this challenge. But as it appears in the trailer, the film has something zestful to offer to the viewers. Will that be the case? We have to wait and see.
The film is directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina and produced by People Media Factory. The film is set for release on the 23rd of December.
