The first weekend of the film Majnu has been decent. It opened well with career best number for Nani in the two Telugu states.
However, the word of mouth for the film has not been unanimously positive and this added with the bad weather all over has made collections dwindle. The second was below expectations. Even the third day, Sunday, although better than the second day, was still not at the optimum.
Is this simply because of the movie at hand or are too many films from the same actor, is the reason for the lack of big jump? This is a question that both the makers and Nani have to ponder over. Meanwhile, trade is looking closely at it weekdays performance to see if the film can maintain steadily at any level.
