Megastar Chiranjeevi‘s Acharya is picking up the buzz as the release date is nearing.
The Koratala Siva directorial will have its US premieres on the 28th of this month. By 1.30 AM IST, the premiere shows will be kicked off in various parts of the US. In India too, there are going to be special fan shows from 4 AM onwards on 29th in Telangana.
The latest update is that the overseas content has been shipped already and the premieres will start on time. Going by the trend, the film has made close to $250K in pre-sales which is a very decent number. As of now, only Cinemark has opened the bookings and once AMC and Regal open, the collections will grow.
The early estimate is that Acharya will have a $600 K plus from the premiere shows which is a good number considering it is coming right after two back to back huge films like RRR and KGF 2. Once the word of mouth is good, the film’s occupancy will grow over the weekend.
