According to the latest buzz in the industry, Kamal Haasan-starrer ‘Uttama Villain’ is getting ready for release in September. While the exact release date is yet to be known, there has been strong buzz that Kamal has indeed locked in September of this year to release his film. As we await for the final confirmation on the release date, we can only hope the film doesn’t get postponed for several reasons.
Directed by Kamal’s close friend Ramesh Arvind, Kamal is essaying double role in the film of that of a modern-day superstar and a theatre artist of a long forgotten era. The film’s biggest highlight will be Kamal’s double act as promised by the actor himself in a recent interview. The film crew is currently shooting a song in Turkey, and is also expected to shoot some important scenes as well.
The film also features Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah and Parvathy Menon in important roles. Veteran actors such as K. Vishwanath and Balachander are also playing important roles in the film.
