Dasari Narayana Rao is gearing up to don the director’s hat again for a new film starring Vishnu Manchu in the lead role. After directing his 150th film Parama Veera Chakra, the veteran director has been missing in action for a while now. Sources say Dasari is contemplating to make a comeback with the remake of super hit Tamil film Manjapai.

Recently, Dasari acquired the remake rights of Manjapai directed by Raghavan N for a fancy price and decided to remake it with Vishnu as the protagonist of the film. Tipped to be a comic caper, the remake of Manjapai is expected to hit the floors soon. On the other hand, Vishnu is excited to work in the direction of his dad Mohan Babu’s mentor Dasari who carved a niche for making blockbusters in shoe-string budget.

Meanwhile, Vishnu’s upcoming film in the direction of Ram Gopal Varma is nearing completion and is slated for release in August.
