Natural Star Nani’s last film, Ante Sundaraniki, didn’t turn out to be as expected at the box office. He has now pinned all his hopes on his next film, Dasara.
Some pictures of Nani during a recent photo shoot for a magazine have been making rounds on social media. Nani looks dashing with a beard in a rugged look in these pictures. He will be seen in Dasara sporting the same look.
Dasara is the biggest film in Nani’s career, being made on a big budget and scale. Nani is putting all his efforts into the making of this film. He has also slashed his remuneration to deliver a quality product. No doubt, as a performer, Nani will make a solid impact. But, getting the appreciation isn’t the target for Nani this time, the film has to post a decent opening and work at the box office.
Nani has claimed that Dasara is the most challenging film of his career. Set in Rural Telangana, the story revolves around very interesting characters.
These days audiences are liking films with raw stories with rustic backgrounds. Recent examples are Pushpa and Rangasthalam. But the film is being directed by a debutante (Srikanth Odela), which makes it a risky project, say trade analysts.
Keerthy Suresh is the female lead opposite Nani, and she also is looking forward to this film to get back to her winning ways.
