Curious Case OF HIT 2 in NorthAdivi Sesh’s HIT 2 looks promising, going by its trailer and other promotional material. The trailer made such an impact that the makers got the motivation to release the film in Hindi as well.

Owing to the pressure, Adivi Sesh and the makers have decided to release the film in the Hindi belt, but two weeks after its release in Telugu states.

They are adopting the same strategy as Kantara, which was released in various other languages two weeks after its Kannada version. The word-of-mouth from the Kannada version was so strong that Kantara took a strong opening in the Hindi belt and went on to collect 75 crores net.

HIT 2 makers would also be hoping that the film will get positive talk in Telugu, and two weeks later, it would open well in Hindi as well. Adivi Sesh scored a decent success with his last release, Major in the Northern territories.

HIT is an established franchise in Bollywood as well because the first part was released recently. Though the film didn’t do well at all, it has some visibility which should help HIT 2 grab some eyeballs.

Thrillers are the flavor of the season, as Drishyam is doing phenomenal business in the North. So hopes for HIT 2’s Hindi version are also reasonable.
