Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise arrived in theaters on the 17th of December. Amazon Prime had bagged the post theatrical digital streaming rights of the Allu Arjun starrer.
It is all but confirmed that Amazon Prime will be orchestrating OTT premieres for Pushpa: The Rise in January. Now, we are hearing that 14th January is the tentative OTT release date for the film.
Pushpa: The Rise is one of Amazon Prime’s promising pan-India outings and there is a lot of curiosity surrounding the same. The OTT giant is hoping that the star value in Pushpa will help its cause.
Pushpa: The Rise is a rustic action thriller, a genre that doesn’t enjoy great patronage on OTT. But the film has star attractions in the form of Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. So, it remains to be seen if it can strike a chord with the OTT audience.
