In general, February is considered to be a dull season for movies as it is a post festival period and students will be preparing for their year end examination. So, the movie makers usually do not prefer February. But this time it is going to be different. There is a cluster of movies planning for release in Feb. Ram’s Ongole Gitta is confirmed on Feb 1st and Prabhas’ Mirchi will be seeing light on Feb 7th. And also there are other movies like Siddharth’s Jabardasth, Gundello Godari, Allu Sirish’s Gaurvam which are being lined up for release in February.
In addition to this, there are also Mani Ratnam’s Kadali, Vikram starrer David, Prabhu Deva’s ABCD, D for Dopidi, Mr Pellikoduku, Bangaru Kodi Petta and Swamy Ra Ra. With SVSC and Nayak occupying a decent share of theaters, we will have to see how all these movies will be accommodated in theaters. There is also a chance that some of these movies move to March.
