South Cinema has been consistently producing quality films when compared to Bollywood. One such critically acclaimed film is Kantara, a Kannada film.
The film has Rishabh Shetty in the lead role and it opened to good reviews from the critics and commoners alike. It is one of the highest grossing Kannada films of the year after the obvious KGF 2.
The latest news is that Kantara has sealed the official OTT streaming partner. The post theatrical OTT streaming rights of the film are with Amazon Prime Video.
Hombale Film, who had bankrolled KGF 2 are now behind Kantara and they appear to have cordial relations with Amazon Prime as all their films are premiering on this platform.
Kantara’s Telugu dubbed version is set for theatrical release on the 14th of this month. Given the prolonged theatrical run the film is getting at the domestic box office, its OTT premieres could be delayed a bit.
