Malkajgiri court following a PIL filed had directed the Cyberabad police to register a case on Mohan Babu and the unit of Denikaina Ready for alleged derogatory comments on Brahmin community in the movie. Various Brahmin associations have been protesting regarding this issue since the movie release. The protesters on Monday held a demonstration in front of Mohan Babu’s Film Nagar residence. They specifically pointed out that the movie’s director, G Nageswar Reddy, had earlier, too, insulted their community, in his movie ‘Seema Shastry’.
Before going to Mohan Babu’s house, the agitators gave a representation to members of the AP Film Chamber of Commerce, complaining about the movie’s producer and the director.
