Prabhas-Court-NoticesThe recently released teaser of Adipurush had been in the news for all the wrong reasons. First, the cartoonish visuals were bombarded by everyone. And then, objections are being raised about the conception of the film, as a whole. There are complaints that the film hurt Hindu sentiments.

Cut to now, for the past couple of hours, there have been multiple reports that the High Court of Delhi had issued a notice to Prabhas and the makers of Adipurush for hurting Hindu sentiments. Even verified handles tweeted the same.

But as it turned out, it wasn’t the Delhi High Court that served the notice to Prabhas and team Adipurush but instead it was the National Cine Workers Union.

The NCWU served a legal notice for criminal action to the hero and the makers. Ashsih Rai, the advocate who served the notice said “it is condemnable how the actor and the makers showed the Hindu mythological epic of Ramayan. The Islamisation act and the whole portrayal is objectionable.”

While it might not be the Delhi High Court that has served the notice to Adipurush team, as is being reported, the legal notice sent by NCWU is of considerable pedigree as well. The team is yet to respond to the same.
