If there is one Big film which tried to resume shoot in Tollywood, it is RRR. But it is raining bad news for the movie team. Only a few days ago, Director SS Rajamouli announced that he and his family were having mild symptoms of the Coronavirus and were tested positive.
Now, the film’s producer, DVV Danayya is also tested Positive. This will mean that the team will not take any risk whatsoever in resuming the shoot in the near future unless the Curve begins to flatten. That makes the future of Telugu Cinema further uncertain. Nandamuri and Mega fans are hoping that their favorite stars did not come in to contact with them.
RRR was supposed to release for Sankranthi 2021. The team claims to have completed 80% of its shoot but the rest of the shoot and elaborate post-production work will take a minimum of Six to Eight months if not longer going by Rajamouli‘s speed.
There are reports that the movie is postponed to July 2021. But then, all this will depend on how soon the normalcy will be stored. The more the delay, the longer the wait for the fans and the audience.
