Controversy Around Shruti Haasan, but What Did She MissRavi Teja and Shruti Haasan starrer ‘Krack‘ turned out to be a blockbuster at the box-office with cine fans fully supporting the mass avatar of Ravi Teja’s come back. However, the controversy around Shruti is not regarding her character but her absence.

She wasn’t at the promotional events of the film or the pre-release event. Added to that Shruti didn’t give video interviews, even. So many are condemning the absence of some heroines who came from other languages skipping the promotional interviews of Telugu films.

Right from Nayantara to Shruti Haasan, some heroines are giving a miss to the promotional events of their films. Presence of the film’s heroine would definitely add some attraction and weight. Choosing not to attend the promotions might be part of the deal or else, they might have had prior commitments.

Directors like Teja are on the heroines’ side saying that heroines have a very short shelf life and hence, they shouldn’t be penalised for their absence. Are some heroines getting choosy which promotions to attend and which ones not?

Coming to Shruti Haasan, though she has a small role in ‘Krack’, she fitted in very well. She has more presence in the first half compared to the second half. Playing a mother for a 5-year-old means, maybe, gone are those days when she was the glamorous heroine romancing heroes like a young girl.

However, being a part of a super hit movie would definitely add to her repertoire and she also has ‘Vakeel Saab’ coming soon in which she was paired opposite Pawan Kalyan.
