Radhika Apte, who luckily got back to back offers to play Balakrishna’s heroine made some really belittling comments on Telugu Film Industry and Telugu heroes. Though she didn’t take any names, since she was cast only beside Balakrishna in her Telugu movies, people in Tollywood were hurt by her controversial statements.
Radhika’s second movie in Telugu, ‘Lion’ is ready for release and the actress gave an exclusive interview as a part of film’s promotions. Speaking about the working relations with star heroes in Tollywood, she said that Balayya Babu gave her full cooperation to get her lines right because she had problems in understanding the language.
Throughout the interview, she didn’t talk ill of TFI and only opined that it is a bit different from other industries and the work culture is different here which isn’t much familiar to her. She is growing used to the culture in Tollywood even as an actress. But she is the one, who took the name of Tollywood and said that here everything is patrairchial and sick. How hypocritic!
