Congress Party seem to be going in the same way as the main opposition party, YSR Congress. The party had decided to boycott the Amaravati foundation event. This was revealed by former Minister Shailajanath.
He alleged that the Prime Minister did not even give appointment to Congress Rajya Sabha members. He also said that the event is happening as if it is a party affair for TDP. So they have decided to boycott the event.
He also alleged that Congress leaders were not properly invited to the event. On the other side, left parties are divided over going to the event. Some parties are gearing to go there while some are not going. With Congress backing out, Telangana Congress leaders are also likely to give it a miss!
