Congress party which is severely battered in Andhra Pradesh due to the state bifurcation, had pinned all its hopes on Chiranjeevi’s fan following since the last elections. The party high command made Chiranjeevi as the Campaign Incharge for the party in the state for the last elections but he only lead the party to a historically shameful Zero seats.
Congress party has now decided to take one final experiment with Chiranjeevi’s image. The party is organizing a dharna demanding the Special Status for the state in Guntur on May 2nd. In order to lure Chiranjeevi fans to the meeting, Congress is organizing a special event called ‘Chiranjeevi Satyagraham’ on that day which will have fasting by the actor cum politician’s fans.
Chiranjeevi’s men organized a big meeting of all the senior fans and fans association Presidents in Mangalagiri on Thursday and National fans President of Chiranjeevi, Swamy Naidu stressed the importance of making this event successful for Chiranjeevi’s political career. Congress party will be assessing the importance that need to be given for Chiranjeevi gauging the success of this event.
