Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s DJ and Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Spyder are the two big films that will conclude the summer of 2017 as far as Telugu films are concerned. Earlier they were supposed to release one month apart, but now things are different.
It is an officially confirmed fact that Allu Arjun starrer Duvvada Jagannadham is not arriving on May 19. The next alternative date the makers have in mind is June 23. Yes, that’s right, the same time which is currently taken by Spyder. Buzz in the industry is that Spyder might not arrive on announced date and that it will be postponed. That is the reason why DJ is looking at taking that date.
If Spyder team is damn sure of making to cinemas on June 23, DJ will then arrive two weeks later on July 14. Either way, DJ will be a scare for Spyder as clash or two weeks gap will limit the run of the Superstar’s film. All of this would be null and void if the makers of Spyder chose to go for a whole new date, August 11, a big holiday week which is open currently.
