Ever since the relaxations are given in the fourth phase of Lockdown, there are a huge number of vehicles on roads in Hyderabad. In several places, the traffic is inching towards the normal mark.In some places, the pollution is also on the rise and will reach to Pre-Corona age soon.
People are behaving as if there is no Corona and are thronging on to the roads. This is increasing the confidence in the producers who are until now skeptical if the audience will come to the theaters. “Just like every other place, the audience will come to the theaters as well. We just need to take for a month or two after opening the theaters,” a producer says.
On the other side, the Telangana Government had decided to restart the industry in three phases. In the first phase, the post-production works will begin and in the next phase, the shootings will resume. The shootings are likely to begin in June. The theaters will open in the third phase latest by August, the Tollywood producers are hoping.
Andhra Pradesh Government is expected to follow the same model. The clarity over this may emerge early next week.
