CRDA made an agreement with three construction planning companies to come up with concept plan for the government complex in Amaravati. Rogers International, Makki Associates and Vaastu Shilpa are the companies. They are given time till March end to come up with the concept plans.
The plans will be forwarded to a jury with six experts who will finalize the final design. Government is planning to begin the construction of the government complex by July. They are targeting to complete the construction by June 2018.
The government complex will come up in 900 acres. Except for high court, all government buildings will come up in core capital. The company which will come with the best design for the government complex, will also be given the opportunity to design the icon buildings of Assembly and high court.
