Why is Priyadarshi upset? He must be on cloud nine that his solo release came to the theatres that was lauded by one and all. But, the collections of the movie weren’t up to the mark.
He wrote on his social media wall, ‘Content is King. But, distribution is God’, indicating that the limited distribution of the movie has limited the commercial success of the movie.
Though the content was good, the makers of the movie couldn’t cope up for wide spread distribution. Priyadarshi’s recent solo release ‘Mallesham’, the biopic on the Padmashri Award winning weaver from Telangana was critically acclaimed for both the content and the performances.
Especially Priyadarshi who played the title role was showered with praises for his solid performance. He did his part and the rest wasn’t taken care of as the makers couldn’t afford a wider release.
