The big item number from Venky Mama with lyrics ‘Coca-Cola Pepsi’ is out. S Thaman, the man of the moment, is providing the music to the mass entertainer.
There are two ways to look at the song. One as a standalone song and other is visually on screen. When it comes to the former, the single is very routine with catchy lyrics for the opening stanza. It doesn’t go beyond and ends up in that regular mould. However, when we see the lyrical video and visuals, we know it has significant scope to click as a video.
Some songs are made for visuals on screen only. ‘Coca-cola Pepsi’ belongs to that category. Still, it needs a proper placement and all that for it to work. But, that should be taken care of by a commercial director like Bobby.
