Talking about the direct OTT releases has become sorts of common in the corona crisis times and one movie around which there had been a lot of speculations was Nani and Sudheer Babu starrer ‘V’ directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti.
The Natural Star’s fans were worried over this as they wanted the movie to go for only theatrical release. In this scenario, Sudheer Babu gave clarity through a Twitter post on the occasion of his birthday hoping to see all the audiences in the theatres.
This made everything very clear. So, no direct OTT release for Nani and Sudheer Babu’s movie, and they are willing to wait for theatrical release though things are still uncertain.
The makers always wanted to go for a theatrical release, but there had been speculations in the trade that they might opt for a direct digital release.
Rumours also made rounds that Nani was against the direct release as that would damage his market prospects. Looks like, most of the producers and stars are against the direct OTT release idea and ‘V’ movie’s clarification says it all.
