The year 2014 seems to have a lot to bring in terms of new films. Regardless, there is still a huge ring of uncertainty regarding the possible dates of release for two great films made my two big personalities of the South Indian film industry. As it so happens, both Rajanikanth and Kamal Haasan will be bringing their latest projects this year.
Both Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam 2 and Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyan were expected to be released last year itself but had to be postponed since the films were yet to be completed. Kochadaiiyan, however, is now supposed to be screened on the occasion of the Tamil New Year in April. And since Vishwaroopam 2 seems to be dragging on with its production work, it is highly likely that it could be looking for the same release date as Kochadaiiyan. Is a clash between the two superstars therefore imminent? Only time will tell!
