When asked, “What is your take on politics?”, actor Prakash Raj said that every common man should have that awareness as it is a wonderful thing; an organisation and a system which needs a rationale, discipline and reasoning.
Is he interested in coming into politics? He thinks that he can’t be associated with one party and being a citizen he can give back more to the country. He opines that films are different from politics. To be a popular actor is different from being a leader.
Some may have both qualities of an actor and also a leader like in the case of NTR, MGR, Karunanidhi and others. That means a star who has those leadership qualities can come into politics.
“But, there are some who made fool of themselves in politics,” observed Prakash Raj speaking about the actors who failed in politics. This way, Prakash Raj weighed both pros and cons of politics and also clearly stated that politics isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.
