Chiranjeevi-Ram-Charan-Zanjeer

The remake of the 1980s super hit film ‘Zanjeer/Thoofan’ has gathered a lot of attention and protests by the notable groups in Seemaandhra region. However, makers of the film seems to have come to a decision to screen the movie as planned on September the sixth in spite of all the protests in state. This bold decision was made only after the film makers assessed the risk of releasing the film versus postponing it since Hindi version of the film has a scheduled release date which can not be delayed.

The promotional events have already begun and it is heard that the audio for the film will be launched on 27th August in Hyderabad. However the sad news is that the legendary actor and Ram Charan’s father Chiranjeevi, who is usually the chief guest in these events, will not be able to attend the launch due to the protests he is getting against him, which could cause more troubles to the film if he attends. We will have to see if this will change and Chiru will make it but as of now it’s very unlikely.
