Megastar Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law, Kalyaan Dhev was recently seen in Super Machi, which released in theatres this Sankranthi season. Not many people even knew that the film released in theatres and it turned out to be a washout in terms of theatrical returns.
Super Machi has now landed on Amazon Prime Video without any prior announcement or buzz. The film premiered on the platform a short while ago.
Super Machi is a supposed action drama. The film has Kalyaan and Rachitha Ram in the lead roles and is directed by Puli Vasu. Kalyaan didn’t even attend the film’s promotions ahead of its release for reasons best known to him.
“Raju (Kalyaan Dhev) works as a singer in Mass Bar, a small bar. A techie Meenakshi (Rachita Ram) is after him desperately trying to woo him while he resists and Insults her. She even gets ready to sleep with him to convince him to love her. Why is she so desperate? What is in it that has impressed her so much? Forms the rest” the plot reads.
Being an outdated formulaic film, Super Machi might not make for a good watch even on OTT. It adds to the list of Telugu duds on Amazon Prime Video.
