Megastar Chiranjeevi, known to lend a helping hand for important causes, is again at the forefront. This time, it is for Covid related relief measures. He is joining hands with Global Stars for a fundraiser event towards ‘India COVID Response Fund’.
Several renowned faces from across the globe will be part of the initiative. It is named, We For India: Saving Lives. The virtual event will take place later today (August 15th) from 7:30 PM. It will stream live on the Facebook page provided in the Tweet below.
Chiranjeevi, AR Rahman, Rajkumar Rao, Malaika Arora are some of the names who will be part of the event. A video featuring Megastar Chiranjeevi has been released to publicise and urge people to donate to the cause.
Ever since the pandemic has ravaged the country, many people from different walks of life have come forward to help the needy. Chiranjeevi has been doing the same for the film industry in Telugu through various activities.
As an actor, Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently busy with two projects, Acharya and Chiru153. The former is complete and ready for release, whereas the latter has commenced its shoot recently. Mohan Raja directs Chiru153 that is rumoured to be titled, Godfather.
